About Us

Details About the Editor

The aim of The Napoleonic Guide is to offer a one-stop reference site for people interested in finding out about one of the most exciting and turbulent periods in history.

The main focus will be on the period from 1796 through to 1815, although the preceding French Revolution will be touched upon.

Initially, it is our aim to cover as many areas as possible with the basic information. Later on, as time permits, we will add greater depth to the information posted here.

As you would understand, it is a lengthy process and if your favourite aspect of the era is not covered at the moment - it will be.

We have tried to ensure all the information within our site is accurate, but if you do happen to come across something that is factually wrong or, in your opinion, does not accurately portray events, then please let us know.

We will then recheck with our reference sources and correct our data, if it proves to be wrong.

The Napoleonic Guide wants to continue towards becoming a major forum in which people publish their ideas and knowledge of the era.

Hope you enjoy.

Cheers,

Richard Moore,
Editor.
